Something actually motivated me to blog, so you know it must be good! Former PGA golfer, CBS correspondent and author, David Feherty, is helping American wounded heroes and their families (he was born in Ireland) by teaming up with the Troops First Foundation AKA “T1F”. You may have heard of them from their initiative called Operation Proper Exit which sends wounded troops back to theater for closure. According to an article on the Golf Channel, his warped humor is a hit with the heroes and his dedication for heroes along withe TiFs founder Rick Kell.

  • David,

Bless you for your incredible kindness and consideration of our military, and for your committment to this country. I send you my prayers and thanks, because this is above and beyond the call of duty. I am a really old Army Grunt from way back in the 60’s, so I recognize the brotherhood, and you are a most welcomed “brother”. I love the game of golf, even with a 22 handicap, so you have generously engaged in my most cherished arena’s – the game of golf with great buddies; our military, especially those greiviously hurt; and our country – God be with us and guide us.

I don’t have much, but feel free to put me on the list of those who would like to help if I can.

    Bless You (and your insults)

    Bob Kirsten
