Face of America 2014

World Team Sport’s ¬†– Face of America ¬†ride- 2 days of cycling – 110 miles from Pentagon to Gettysburg – lots of hills – spending time with old friends – making new friends along the way – raising money for a great cause – amazing!!! There were about 600 riding this year and about 150 of those being disabled veterans. We rode together as one for 2 days and it was pure awesomeness, life-changing once again!

My new friend Jason Dods. He took this awesome video, some of these fab pictures and got my butt to the airport on time!

If you still want to donate – they will use your funds so that our veterans can ride and participate in these great events! I wrote about it pre-event and now that the event is over, felt the need to share pictures. MANY THANKS to all my sponsors and anyone who sponsored anyone or volunteered their time to make this even so awesome!

Below – some old friends: My dear friend Kathleen and one of the reasons I headed up for the ride! Sharon (having a beer at the finish line with me), Charles ( the team Captain for Strength and Honor) and Greg.

Riding through Gettysburg is one of the coolest things on this ride! Like a postcard the whole way.

Lew – can’t say enough great things about this man!

Nothing like seeing Old Glory towards the end!
